We serve women navigating financial instability, while managing both family and financial needs.

We started as a ground up initiative Her Rise Above in 2019.

  • 2019

    We began with one Riser and a vision to journey with women at their pace and time, creating flexible pathways to earn and grow while managing caregiving responsibilities.

  • 2020/1

    COVID paused our work at first, but it also created new opportunities. By moving online, we connected with new Risers, volunteers, and supporters seeking flexible ways to earn and purposeful giving.

  • 2022/3

    We grew with more corporate supporters and launched our Go-To-Market catalogues to boost Risers’ visibility.

    Stronger business modules and volunteer training helped us scale and track impact across more women-led businesses.

  • 2024

    Registered as Rise Thrive Initiative and introduced coaching opportunities to our community to deepen our work on self-agency - supporting women to navigate recurring challenges with confidence and clarity.

  • 2025

    We became a registered charity, anchoring our mission to build confidence, well-being, and financial independence for women and their families to rise and thrive with stability and self-agency.

  • Looking Ahead

    We are growing an ecosystem of support where women and their families rise together - expanding training, deepening coaching, and strengthening pathways to long-term financial stability and wellbeing.
